Stay Healthy on the Go

This past month has been nutso. I finally have my feet back on the ground and I’m grateful to have the next 7 weeks to snuggle into the rest of winter.

olly vitamins are perfect for travel

I really have been on the go for the past month. I’ve visited both coasts…like…to the actual water. I made a quick stop down in Texas, and now I’m finally grounded for the next seven weeks.

My biggest concern while traveling is the fact that I eat utter and total junk. I try to be a really go-with-the-flow guest and traveler. That means it’s hard to the girl that says “lean meats and veggies only please” when everyone else wants burgers and donuts. In the airport often the quickest option is whatever bagged junk is at Hudson News and on the road it’s basically gas station quick stops or a run through the drive through. That means there isn’t a whole lot of nutrition, mostly just calories.

olly superfood vitamins

I have been a fan of Olly for a long time. I actually had 3 other Olly varieties on my counter before they approached me about a partnership. Olly vitamins are packaged in cute little cubes, they have a variety of yummy gummy tastes, and they have all sorts of kinds available. It doesn’t hurt at all that Olly is available at Target, where I grocery shop every week. Historically, I hate taking vitamins but these little gummies have made it a little bit of my morning routine I look forward to.

So, as I ran across the country filling my duties for Wildly Co. (as creative director with a stop in LA), for The Influence Network (as an attendee at IF: in Austin), and for Wild and Free (to film videos in Charleston), I was popping two of these sweeties a day. It made me feel better about the weird mish-mash of food I was getting. These Superfood Multi’s are a complete multi-vitamin, ready and armed with 10 of the most heroic little foods on the planet.

My top tips for staying somewhat healthy on the road:

More than anything, being a woman who wears many hats has made me very aware of my energy levels. I’m not always the best eater (especially on the go), but I’ve been noticing what causes my energy to dip and what keeps it steady.

Bonus: you can get 20% your first subscription of any OLLY products with the code SUPER20.  Expires 3/30/16.

This post was made possible by Olly, but all opinions and ideas are my own, as always. Like I said, I already had 3 different Olly products–I’d like to collect them all. ;)

I’d love to know what YOU do when you’re traveling to avoid feeling like junk. I’m in need of all the tips I can get!
