passion

Passion is something that nearly everyone responds to.  We follow people with passion and we engage more when we are passionate.  We desire to follow our passions, and we want our careers or our lives to be driven by things are are passionate about.

How does one know what their passions are?  How do you get excited about the here and now, when it might not be your “end goal”?  How do you approach life with a zest and excitement that is contagious?

These are things I plan to speak to over the next 3 weeks.  I’ve been asked many times to expound more on the “more passion” side of Tiny Twig–more in demonstration than narrative (as a lot of the “more passion” posts are).

I’ve always been an excited and excitable person.  I’m nothing if not enthusiastic, and my husband is the same way.  Together, we have created 3 very enthusiastic children.  However, I haven’t always been focused in my passion, and I certainly haven’t always been crazy about the season of life I found myself in.  I believe there are times and places for so many kinds of passion and excitement and enthusiasm and zest and joy and fullness.

In this three week series, you can expect to learn–

my definition of passion, about my passions, how to identify your passions, what to do  with your passions, what to do when you aren’t feeling passionate, about other people who are passionate, how to grow into your passions, what happens when it is not the season to pursue your passion, how to fund your passions…among many other things!

I’m super excited about this series, as it speaks to a whole half of the heart of this blog (and MY passion!).  I’d love if you would share posts that you find helpful and really engage with each other in the comments.  I think this series has the potential to be really powerful–both in your life and the community we share here at Tiny Twig.
