When we moved into our house last fall, Husband had been traveling most of the summer and would continue to travel until about 3 weeks after we moved in. I closed on the house, moved our things in, had the floors laid, painted, decorated…all without him. I had an army of other help, but Husband was out of town for business. He was shocked when he came home to the house looking completely different than when he had seen it last (about 4 weeks prior).
Just the difference between the before and after (1 year ago) makes me take a deep breath. I feel like I can let out a sigh of relief knowing we’ve made some really great progress in our house so far. Of course, we have other dreams and plan to change the house…but just what we’ve done so far has made such a huge difference.
I plan to have a house tour up sometime in early 2012. Can’t wait to share!
