Gift Guide for the New Boyfriend (or brother!) 2015

this helps me figure out what the heck to get the guy i just started dating.

This is the weirdest and most enduring socially awkward person to buy for. What do you buy the guy you’re dating but aren’t crazy serious with? The best part of this list is that it’s non-romantic enough to double as a gift guide for your AWESOME brother! Perfect. I guarantee your little brother, your big brother, your half brother, your step brother…they will all love you for getting them one of these fun gifts.

Cozy Gifts

  1. Classic Beanie from Everlane: This hat looks great on every guy. Add this with an ice-skating date and a movie at home–sweetest gift ever.
  2. Everlane Hoodie: Obviously, my love of Everlane knows no bounds. 80% of my own wardrobe comes from Everlane. In fact, I own this men’s hoodie myself. I bought it in an XS (I’m 5’3″ 115lbs) and my husband owns it in a L (he’s 5’11” 175lbs). Since it doesn’t have the kangaroo pocket, it looks a little sharper than your normal Sunday morning kind of hoodie.

Kind of Nerdy Gifts

  1. Fun Lab Mug: My good friend Lindsey Kubly is a science buff and she’s melded this perfect feminine-tomboy sort of look in her house. I feel like this is a fun mug that is a upgrade from the mugs your guy might have hiding in his cabinets.
  2. BOOOOOKS! I always love, love, love to give and get books for Christmas. They are intimate yet fun and all relatively inexpensive. Two go-to favorite selections for men are Humans of NY and All the President’s Men.

Action Packed Gifts

  1. These keychains are beautiful and handmade. They remind me nostalgic things. Kind of like national parks and wool blankets. Perfect gift for the VERY new guy.
  2. A lot of guys would love a brand new, perfectly inflated basketball. Extra points if you’re willing to get out there a play a game of pick-up basketball with him.
Do you need to get a gift for your mom, your dad, or a creative lady in your life? You’re in luck!

One more thing: If you don’t have Amazon Prime yet, you can sign up for a FREE 30 day trial. That will get you all the way through Christmas with FREE 2 day shipping. Best idea EVER.
