Gift Guide Mom 2015

Moms, whoosh. Gotta love them, but man are they hard to Christmas shop for. I think part of the problem is they normally have the disposable income to go buy the stuff they want already, and plus they’re so smart they’re hard to surprise! BUT, we’ve got you covered this year. Some of these are super inexpensive, and some are splurges to go in on together with your siblings. We promise you’re going to finally make your mom feel really special and appreciated this year. :)

Cozy Winter Essentials:

Men’s Ankle Bootie Slippers: Okay, before you give me the side-eye for these being men’s slippers–let me tell you how much cuter they are than the women’s. These are DARLING and the perfect cozy cabin tomboy looks for lounging at the house.

Luxurious Diptyque Candle: These are pricey but the craziest, delicious splurge for cold, dreary nights.

Snuggly Soft Wool Cardigan: I have this sweater and it’s hands down the best, most comforting thing to wrap up in. I keep mine on a hook by my bed and slip it on when I wake up every morning.

An Online Knitting Class: Keeps her fingers busy when it’s too cold to do much else, plus the finished product is perfectly cozy in itself. This is a beginner class, but there are tons to choose from! (Use the code COZYCRAFTS for a free month–and you get to keep 1 class even if you cancel!).

For the Kitchen:

Espresso Maker: Who doesn’t love a good pick me up on a cold morning?

Milk Steamer and Frother: It’s just like the icing on the cake to your espresso drink. ;)

Food52 Genius Recipes: This is one of the highest rated cookbooks on all of Amazon and for great reasons. It’s beautiful, it’s helpful, and it promises to change the way you cook (waaaaaht?).

Look Good

Maskcara IIID Contouring Foundation: I use this and love it. It’s just plain fun. It’s contouring without looking like a Kardashian–just a brighter, younger version of yourself. I mean, look at these crazy beautiful makeovers! Check out Cara’s (the makeup artist who created IIID Foundation) blog to see so many before and afters.

Vrai and Oro Ring Set: This is a sweet up-market sophisticated bit of fine jewelry without the jewelry store markup.

We love moms! We also love creatives–did you see the Gift Guide for Creatives? Your mom might even love some of those things, too!

Here’s one more GREAT idea. If you don’t have Amazon Prime yet, you can sign up for a FREE 30 day trial. That will get you all the way through Christmas with FREE 2 day shipping. Best idea EVER.
