Tonight is the night we’ve been planning for and waiting for! We’ll be going in front of a crowd of people to pitch our plan for our dream year. If you’ve read Tiny Twig for ANY length of time, you know that we are 3 weeks in to our Dream Year. Mike (my husband!) left his corporate gig and we’re launching an ethically made kids’ line. It’s pretty nuts. And, it’s kind of scary. And it’s very expensive.
That’s why we’re so grateful for our slew of friends who will be cheering us on at the Dream Year event! We’re also totally pumped about the new friends we’ll make tonight! We hope to be able to help other dreamers meet their dreams, too. It’s easier to take a risk when you have a great community of people around you.
Tonight we’ll compete for a $1000 prize to get our dream going. We hope to win that and put it toward our Kickstarter–because as you know, Kickstarter is an all or nothing sort of thing. We’re currently a little more than 40% funded–and you have to get fully 100% funded to claim any of the pledges. That feels like a super scary risk–but one we were willing to take in order to bring all of your along with us! We believe the community we’ve found through Tiny Twig is one we’ll be glad to have with Wildly Co!
We are setting a big, huge audacious goal today! We want to get to 50% funded by tomorrow night. $10,000 would be halfway to $20,000 and we want to get there by tomorrow night! If we win the prize money tonight, we’ll be almost there. But, we could SURE use your help to reach this goal. It feels super risky to put it out there! :)
