the creative space

When I first saw this space, I thought it was far too big and expensive for our tiny needs. We just need a desk, some space for inventory, and an area that is less private than our home where people could work on Wildly Co. stuff without having to step over my laundry baskets.

But, I went back a second time. And a third. And eventually a fourth.

And now, I’m hoping to find several other creative women to help me fill this space with life and vibrance and relationships and work. Where it was too big for just me, it is the perfect size for a group of us. While it was too expensive for just me, divided among several of us we could all bear the burden easily. We could come together as a co-op and fill it up with life.

The space isn’t finished yet, but it’s BEAUTIFUL already. The building was built in the 1890s and housed the Mayor’s office for a time. A property management company bought the building and renovated it to be a group of offices. There are all kinds of small businesses in the building, but this space is special even in such a unique building.

This space is light filled, has exposed brick, and such high ceilings. It’s a dream of a workspace and we’d love to fill it with creative community.

We are looking for 5-10 founding members for this co-workspace. That would give us the green light to get going and secure the space for sure. We are looking for women who are yearning for connections with women like them. We are looking for women who want to invest in the local community. We are looking for creative women of all kinds, who are tired of working on a laptop at their kitchen table surrounded by reminders of all they have to get done at home.

We are just north of Indianapolis in Hamilton County–and I’d love to talk with you if you’d be interested in this kind of community. It’s going to be dreamy, exciting, and I can’t imagine the kinds of collaborations that will come out of this space!

Email me at thetinytwig @ gmail if YOU are interested or forward this to any friend who may be in my area. :) I so appreciate you!
