This eBook The No Brainer Blog has been a labor of love and commitment for me. I’ve been working on this book since March–which is an extremely long project for me. I wanted to give up. I wanted to shelve it and never touch it again. It’s such good content, but I was so tired of staring at it. I struggle with finishing things once I’ve lost interest, and I lose interest in things once the momentum slows down.
However, at The Influence Conference I was reminded that the fruit is in the follow through. I owed it to myself, my business, and my family (and YOU!) to finish the project. This has been a huge lesson for me in 2012, so I’m thankful to be learning obedience!
I think you’ll love this book if you’ve ever wanted to blog, if you currently blog, or if you used to blog but gave up. It’s simply stated but information packed, and I think it will give you lots to think about and implement.
I collaborated on The No Brainer Blog with the designer who did the graphics for Tiny Twig. She imparts her hard-earned (and well paid for–horray traditional higher education!) knowledge on graphic design. The book is perfect for the blogger who wants a professional look but doesn’t want to pay an expensive designer. I hope you’ll take a look.
I think you’ll find it well worth the $7.99 cost of the book. There are 4 worksheets in the back that I think are worth that cost alone in the time, money, and frustration you’ll save. We’ll have even more detailed information how-tos and help when The Influence Network launches on January 1st. If you haven’t signed up for information about the Network, I’d encourage you to do so!
All month, there will be posts popping up on the Internet with thoughts about The No Brainer Blog. I hope you’ll take a few moments to pop over to the other blogs to see their thoughts! First up in Brittany of Live Laugh Studios (who happens to be my fabulous assistant!!).

I had no idea our dear and adorable hotel neighbor from Relevant ’11 was your assistant!
she is! and she’s so wonderful! :)
also! i think it proves the point (which i conveniently discuss in the eBook!) that putting yourself out there really helps create collaborative relationships. if Brittany hadn’t decided to go to Relevant ’11 and introduce herself…we would never have met. it may have taken several months to really cement the relationship, but she was on my radar because of meeting her at Relevant/Allume!
p.s.–sorry Brittany for talking about you like you aren’t here. :)
Since Allume, Sally Clarkson’s words have been interrupting my thoughts when she said “A wise woman Initiates”. I agree but I also think A Wise Woman Follows Through! The fruit will follow. Way to go wise friend!
Loved this series. Way to go Hayley!
Really excited. I need some fire lit under me to know what to do with my (teeny tiny) blog.
Congratulations! Can’t wait to start reading it, Hayley. Now go enjoy the rest of your winter sitting on the couch, wearing your husband’s pajamas, and reading a good book. ;)
SO excited for you!!!!! You basically rock. I agree with Moriah, go lay on the couch in your hubby’s sweats. That’s what I’m doing RIGHT NOW :)
I couldn’t agree more with Caroline (and Sally Clarkson)! It has been giving me little pushed to finish my project. 8 years is too long. I’m so glad you didn’t give up. I’m so excited to read your new ebook!
congrats on finishing your ebook!!
Read it and loved it. Very interesting on design as well. I’ve been badly let down by a couple of blog designers, lost money in the process. Any thoughts on a good wordpress designer?
big fat toothy grin. it’s here! so proud of you.
This is great news!!! Its naptime and I am gettin’ mine!
Just purchased it– I can’t wait!
Sounds really interesting – great idea!
Can the design tips also be applied to platforms like Blogger or are they for self hosted sites only?!
Saskia
Just ordered my copy and I’m so excited to read it! :)
You are seriously one of the most inspiring people I know. I love your tenacity and I adore your heart and approachability. Can’t wait to see what is next from the Tiny Twig with the big ol’ heart. xoxo
Read The No Brainer Blog yesterday morning. It has something to offer for both the novice blogger and those of us who have been at it for a while. You’ve inspired me to take a look at my blog with fresh eyes!
My favorite quote from the book:
“People want to know that they are not alone, and writing is our way to serve a lonely world.”
So true. Thanks Hayley!
(And now that I’ve read your ebook, I’m looking forward to exploring your blog!)
okay, i think i’m going to get this…sounds like the $8 will be totally worth it! ;) congratulations on writing another book, hayley!
p.s. i totally cleaned out my reader a couple weeks ago, so i’m just now getting around to adding blogs back in…missed reading yours!
Wonderful news! I would love to write an ebook and you are definitely an inspiration to me. Off to purchase :)
Like you, I’m a girl who loves coming up with ideas but sometimes gets bored with the follow through. Sooooo glad you carried this on to completion, though. Such a great resource from a smart lady. I’m thrilled to be on the blog tour!!!
