Coats for the Homeless

Written by on November 14, 2011 in More Passion, Through Service - 3 Comments

When I first started Tiny Twig, it was to inspire and remind me that life was bigger than the tiny tasks I was completing every day.  There was more passion to be found, even if it was simply really being present in the moment that I was in.  The wiping noses, the doing dishes, the grocery shopping.  I dreamed up adventures to go on every week–challenging myself to live more intentionally and outside my norm.

I thought it would be fun to look back at some of those posts on Mondays.  One, most of you haven’t been following me since day one.  And two, it is a good reminder for me!

Looking back, my kids are so little (these posts were almost 2 years ago!), and I just love thinking on the week we did this together.  It was hustle and bustle and dreaming and planning–all focused on serving others.  It was my kids’ first big lesson in service.
